Frogs at the Movies
Early one morning Dale and I caught the bus,
A Saturday movie was really a must.
We bought some peanuts at the Woolworth Store,
And ate them as fast as into our mouth we could pour.
We snuck them inside and thought oh what a day,
Little did we know the price we would pay.
We ate them until no more would go down,
Then tossed a few at each other and kind of all around.
A little bit later our problem did occur,
All the peanuts inside us began to stir.
One after another a frog would croak,
Followed by laughed as we quickly would choke.
We moved a few rows to a fresher seat,
Only to have the frogs repeat.
As the frogs croaked on, the people moved far away,
We were twelve or thirteen, what more must I say?
