Taylor, our buddy, you went away; we were glad when you returned,
We hope during your journey something useful you have learned.
Although we worried about you and missed having you near,
We knew you had to go and we had to conquer our fear.
That’s why we asked the Lord to watch over you day and night,
So the joyful time would come when again you would be in our sight.
Go ahead young one and do what you have to do,
Just remember to yourself and to the Lord you must always be true.
