Invisible Magnet
I wish science would study
a question that perplexes me,
Why, as we get older
stronger gravity seems to be?
I believe there’s a giant magnet
matching our every step,
Zapping all our energy
stealing all our pep.
It has such a force it
even pulls on our skin,
Stretching from our forehead
and giving us another chin.
Each time I bend over
I feel the power increase,
Causing me to strain and groan
before I gain my release.
Hurry great modern science
find us the answer please,
Before it gets so strong we become
immobile just like the trees!
