Nature's Wrath
Mother Nature became enraged on the evening of May third,
She screamed and tore at our land with a voice that’s seldom heard.
We watched her power with awe as she destroyed herself as well as man,
For the strongest of our dwellings her power they couldn’t with stand.
But, we can always replace our possessions no matter what the cost,
But, the lives that were taken are an irreplaceable loss.
And so, we grieve for our dead as we try to understand, why?
At this particular place and time Nature rained destruction from the sky.
