I Still Ask the Question
I still ask the question Why did Granny have to go?
I still don’t have an answer the reason I still don’t know.
For her work on Earth was still not finished there are several little ones still,
That needed a Granny like her and now they always will.
But, it wasn’t just the little ones the big kids needed her, too,
Because she showered us all with love that’s what this Granny would do.
It wasn’t yet the right time there was too much life to live,
She had much to do too much love to give.
That’s the reason I ask why I can't understand,
Why, our Granny was taken why we were dealt such a terrible hand?
For we are still hurting for Pa-pa so we needed our Granny near,
To help each other heal to chase away each other’s fear.
