 First Anniversary
It’s been a year since we said “I do”.
Darling, please know my love for you is still true.
I’m as happy today as I was a year ago,
Simply because you love me so.
On days that I am sad you become my clown,
Whatever my needs you never let me down.
You give me a reason to awaken each day,
So, believe me my love when you hear me say.
My love will be true through good times and bad,
I’ll try my darling to never make you sad.
