 No~Nada~Nyet
If I knew how to be of any help
I’d gladly lend a hand,
I just can’t figure out, what part of "NO"
people don’t understand.
I thought it was fairly simple
no matter what language was used,
When accompanied by a shake of the head
how anyone could be confused.
Yet, it happens everyday when people
hear that little word,
They give you a long dumb stare
like they can’t believe what they just heard.
Which causes our muscles to tense
and go into a defensive mode,
And makes us want to scream and holler
“Just listen to what you’ve been told!”
I know that wouldn’t help and would
compound the problem even more,
But I’m sure everyone has seen the meaning of
"NO" being demonstrated before.
