 The Treasure
Man’s nature is to
acquire much sliver and gold,
Then find a safe place
so all his treasures it will hold.
He hoards it for himself
he shares not with his fellow man,
He says he needs more
he wants to have all he can.
This is so typical of
man and his greed,
He doesn’t understand
the greatest treasure of his need.
This treasure is freely given
gold or silver it is not,
But, the saving grace of our Father
poured into a simple clay pot.
