Grocery Shopping of Yesteryear


	Grocery Shopping of Yesteryear I think grocery shopping is the number one gripe so try to imagine the chore, When people of long ago times had to go to their grocery store. There were no shiny push carts no shelves stocked nice and neat, And not much in the way of food that you could heat and eat. There was no help to locate certain items and you would be in a big world of hurt, If you were unable to find what you wanted your bones would be resting in the dirt. Products were packaged so much different sometimes, food, clothes, and tools came as one. And if your purchase had other items, your shopping may be over and done. Think about all the fun of putting your groceries away, If you got jumbo size you're looking at more than one day. There were no questions about paper or plastic it was bagged and ready to go, Everything was guaranteed fresh preservatives were definitely a big no-no. When the next shopping time rolls around and there are other things you’d rather do, Remember how it used to be and maybe it will carry you through.
