How Time Flies
The older we get
quicker does time seem to come and go,
I know it must be true because
everyone agrees it to be so.
It just seems like a month
before I was a youngster playing with toys,
Then a few days later
I liked cars that made a lot of noise.
By the end of the week
I had started a new life,
I found a beautiful girl and
she said yes she would become my wife.
Another two weeks and a half
both my kids were born and raised,
And now they have their own kids
and I sit here looking kind of dazed.
The month is now over and
I must hurry if every thing I am to see,
Because as fast as time has passed
it won’t be long before I’m history.
