 The Guiding Light
If only we could imagine the excitement
of the shepherds who saw the light,
That guided them to the manger
for the Savior’s birth on the wondrous Holy night.
To be chosen for the honor
of being among the first,
To see the Appointed One
born of a virgin birth.
I’m sure their lives were changed
as they gazed upon the King,
Who came down from the Heavens
so to us a new life He could bring.
So, we must thank the One called Wonderful
and love Him with all our heart,
For dying for our sins and
giving us a brand new start.
