The Great Protector
When storm clouds roll into my life
and I'm rocked to and fro,
To the shelter of your mighty arms
my Lord, I know I must go.
You're like the lee-side of an island
a safe harbor from the angry sea,
With open arms of mercy
calling Your servant to Thee.
You shelter me like a palace
You give me comfort as the winds of life roar,
You give me refuge from the floods
as torrents of trouble pour.
When the storms have ceased their fury
and we see the suns cleansing light,
We thank You oh Mighty Lord
were so precious in Your sight.
