 The Gift
A child is a gift
on loan to us,
With so much responsibility
so much trust.
For us imperfect parents
with self centered views,
Surely God could see
surely He knew.
He sent the fragile bundle
from heaven for us to love,
If some parents don’t let them face
the wrath from above.
A loan is a contract
between God and mankind,
We must pay our debts
for God’s love upon us to shine.
