The Futile Search
Many men search their entire life
looking for the truth to show them the way,
They look with the zeal of a man possessed
yet not knowing all they have to do is pray.
They look far and wide
they look high and low,
Searching and searching for
the peace they’ll never know.
For their futile search takes them
through the world of man,
The world man sabotaged
with his very own hand.
It’s a shame and a sorrow
these words they cannot see,
I’m the way, the truth, and the life
no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.
