 Watermelon Seeds and Men
I understand you’re growing
like you swallowed a watermelon seed,
Your hormones are out of whack
and temporary insanity you’re trying to plead.
You complain of an aching back
or being swollen like a balloon,
You say if it’s over today
it won’t be a minute too soon.
Now here’s the sobering fact
if natural it is for you,
Just think of where that watermelon
is going to come out through.
I know it will be worth it
when you see the little one,
Even when you hear, proud dad say
“look what I have done!”
