In Control
We read it in the paper
we hear it on TV,
Scientists are sounding the alarm
of what might come to be.
“There is a chance
so we must prepare,” they say,
Should an asteroid strike the earth and end the world
as we know it today.
They worry us for nothing
because their faith is just to low,
They just don’t understand
that my God is in control.
They scan the darkened sky
looking for the doomsday rock,
If only they would read God’s word
so their heart He could unlock.
The end cannot be until
my God says it is so,
Why can’t they understand
that my God is in control?
