 Truck Verses Tree
One day the boys went hunting
extraordinary hunters all three,
They killed one Ford pick-up by
running it into a tree.
I can’t help but wonder
which one they were angry at,
The tree minding its own business
or the truck in which they sat.
Maybe it’s all the hype
about which truck is really the best,
So they decided right then and
there to put this Ford to the ultimate test.
I hate to dampen their spirit
and take their sense of adventure away,
But a tree the size of that one
will beat a pick-up any day.
So, if another pick-up you want to destroy
at least do it to have some fun,
Give yourself some distance and
shoot it with a gun.
