 The Fifty~First State
I have a novel idea
that sounds good to me,
If we’re going to police the world
we need to stop doing it for free.
We can charge them by the day
or give them a package deal,
That says we’ll kick their enemy’s butt
then send them an itemized bill.
Even if they have no money
they still can escape their enemy’s hate,
After we’re through kicking
butt we’ll charge them taxes like a fifty-first state.
