 Bonded by Love
I remember the early years; when our love was exciting and new,
I thought nothing about the future; I was to busy loving you.
We had nothing material; so we found fun in simple things,
It’s amazing how much happiness true love to a couple brings.
We were poor as Oklahoma dirt; yet we laughed our cares away,
We were just too young and naive to worry about the coming day,
Now, as I remember, I wonder how we made it through,
It had to be all the love that bonded me and you.
