Another Chance Missed
Each morning as I talk to the Lord
I ask Him what He wants me to do,
Each day He replies the same
I have a job that is just right for you.
Yet I pretend I don’t hear
as I begin another day,
Another chance to serve Him
has started to slip away.
Why do I do this
to the One who gave me His all?
Why does He bother to answer
when I ignore Him each time I call?
Because He is my God
and I’m thankful He loves me so,
For no matter what I do
He’ll never let me go!
