A Tiny Moment
I had been holding the Savior’s hand
and walking along with Him each day,
When the lights of the world distracted me
and caused me to lose my way.
Though, it was only a moment
the Savior’s hand I did fore go,
But, in that tiny moment
Satan’s power began to show.
He led me farther away and even though
I knew I was doing wrong,
I followed the great deceiver for away from the Lord
I was not strong.
I followed the ways of the world
until I was bogged in sinking sand,
Then I cried out to the Father, Lord
please reach down and take my hand.
He raised me from my troubles and
set me down on Calvary’s Hill,
Where I saw my Lord upon the cross and
His power I began to feel.
It only took a moment for
Satan to lead me astray,
For, it was only a tiny moment when from
my Lord I looked away.
