Not One Clue
We live in the world of
haves and have-nots,
Believe me I know
because there is none in my pot.
Computer savvy
the ability to know,
Which little key will
make the power flow?
Where did they get it
and why was I left out?
A discriminating decision
I have no doubt.
Am I a freak of nature with
a short-circuit or two?
That keeps the correct signal
from making it’s way through?
Maybe it’s all just
an alien scheme,
Of which it would make a
good science fiction theme.
I don’t have a clue
and it bugs me like crap,
It truly makes me feel
like a big stupid sap.
