Temper~Short but NOT Sweet!!
I’ve got a temper like a volcano
it could blow at any time,
Or for periods it might lie dormant
and things will be just fine.
Deep inside it’s bubbling
waiting for a spark,
So on something it can explode
just like a great white shark.
Sometimes it’s like a landmine
one more step and BOOM!
Then I find my dignity scattered
all over the room.
I’ve tried to disarm the bomb
calm the volcano within,
Pull the great whites teeth
so the battle against my temper I can win.
I always cut the wrong wire
so the bomb blows up in my face,
Pouring water on the volcano
greatly steams up the place.
As for pulling the great whites teeth
I haven’t yet gotten him into the chair.
Making a house call for him
is something I would never dare.
I can’t help but wonder
when I have my next big boom,
Will I spread more than my dignity
all over the room?
