Bridge to Heaven


	Bridge to Heaven As my life became a shambles, I sought the wisest of men, But they could not help me because they were also trapped in sin. Their answers only led me deeper, so much deeper into despair. Because they were of this world and about the truth they did not care. As I ran out of worldly options and wondered what I was going to do, I remembered hearing someone say, turn to God and He will carry you through. I went to the house of the Lord and heard the wonderful news, If I gave my heart to Jesus my soul I could never lose. He promised me abundant life, He promised me eternal love, He said He was the bridge, over the chasm of sin to Heaven above. My heart was as hard as stone until the Holy Spirit came within, I cried tears of thankfulness because I was free of the penalty of sin.
