 To My Wonderful Wife
I found a beautiful young girl
that captured my heart,
That is why we
will never part.
She has stood beside me
through thick and thin,
While our years are growing
more and more thin.
She still has her
love for only me,
As much as
I only love she.
With her beautiful smile
and generous heart,
Our family could
have not a better start.
With her radiant glow
guiding my way,
There is no one
that could not say,
That I have found
Heaven on Earth,
With her beside me
I can not be hurt.
Through our many
and numerous tears,
I want each and
everyone to hear,
From this beautiful woman
that came to me,
I have so many blessings
for all to see.
From the early morning dawn
when I awake,
I know her endless love
is mine to take.
And, I will give her
all my love too,
I just hope it’s enough
to see her through.
When we go to rest
in the evening night,
My closing eyes will
see her beautiful sight.
I hope and pray we
will awaken the next day,
So, she can hear me
when I say,
"I love you more than
anything on Earth,
And I just want to prove
to you my worth."
She’s the most beautiful creature
anyone can find,
That’s why I was so happy when
she said she’d be mine!
Through joy and sorrow
together we’ll be,
Because, I love her
as much as she loves me.
Even though my eyes
grow dim with age,
I can still behold
the most beautiful page.
