Mizzou scores first on a three-point play,
But the Sooners come back in a seven-point way!
A great goal line stand keeps the Tigers out,
Daniel throws a fit and sits down to pout.
They play it safe and take another three,
So far, a T.D. is not to be.
The O starts to click and takes it to the zone,
Now Big “D” must stay, “Bad to the Bone”.
Mizzou ties it at fourteen all,
Can the Sooners suck it up and answer the call?
Big “D” makes the stop and Patrick gets in gear,
On third and goal it’s touch down Sooners we hear.
On Mizzou’s next possession Lofton makes a pick,
Sooners cash in for seven real quick!
Sam to Joe John for the fifth Sooner score,
From the Tiger’s eyes the rain starts to pour.
Hartley adds three for the icing on the cake,
As over the coals the Tigers we rake.
Big Twelve Champs are the crimson and cream,
It’s title #5 for the Big Red Team!!!
