 ROSE BOWL CHAMPS!
They didn’t want a bunch of “Okies”, but we went anyway,
We went to California to show “em how Sooners can play.
We took the Sooner Schooner and all our Big Red pride,
Then kicked the Pac~10 champs out by the ocean side.
Our defense was really stingy with the real estate in the “Granddaddy Bowl”.
While Hybl picked them apart and “Q” continued to roll.
It’s no wonder they didn’t want us, we should have known it all along,
They didn’t want to hear “The Pride of Oklahoma play the victory song!!
