52-9

52-9 by the boys in crimson and cream,
Once more the Sooners prevail and spoil another Cowboy dream.

With Sooners charging hard; a blanket over Rashaun,
Fields could quickly see Armageddon had suddenly dawned.

A tidal wave of red driven by envious talk,
Remember, Miles, ole’ friend, you must be able to walk the walk.

Pick up your shattered egos; stuff them in your saddlebags,
Limp back to Stilwater; wiping your tears with your orange rags.
