Raided Raiders
![]() 65 - 21
The Red Raiders came to town with a lot of fanfare,
But the Sooners shouted out, “We don’t care!”
Two times in the first Harrell went down,
As the fans made Norman a noisy town.
Murray and Brown were like rabbits on the loose,
Being chased by a squeaky fat-tailed goose.
Forty-two to seven; Sooners at the half,
Was that a roar from the crowd or just a long laugh?
Open-up wide Donald the trump,
So, as your foot hits bottom I can hear a thump.
Harrell said, “He couldn’t and wouldn’t be sacked,”
Sounds like his noggin is kinda cracked.
The stadium was rockin’ the score was shockin’,
The Big Red team had heads a knockin’.
The Cherokee warrior was hot from the start,
With the body guards in place, he picked them apart.
Big “D” showed up like an angry bear,
It just took some red raiders to lure him out of his lair.
After this performance you deserve much acclaim,
Just remember Sir Venables we expect it every game!
The Big Red juggernaut goes to cowboy land,
Where we hope it’s a repeat of Custer’s last stand.
Go Sooners!!!
