Surrendered Early
![]() 66 - 28
The Tin Soldiers were standing waving their rags,
Which looked a lot like white surrender flags.
It’s 28 to zip when the Achilles Heel checks in,
And looks once more like a big ugly sin.
The “D” played great until the Heel set the tone,
Then two Aggie scores makes us all start to moan.
Who let the Heel out; can’t we stuff it in a boot?
If it wiggles a little; get a gun and shoot.
Murray and Brown gobbled up the real estate,
Maybe for Thanksgiving they just couldn’t wait.
Twenty-two of thirty-three for three two 0,
Cherokee Sam put on another show!
Galloping like thoroughbreds the Sooner backs ran wild,
No help for the Aggies even if 9-1-1 had been dialed.
Nice little tune-up for the big showdown,
When the Red Raiders of Tech ride into town.
A heart-stopping shoot-out it surely will be,
If Sir Venables can’t find an air-tight D.
Go Sooners!!!!
