The
The Freight-Train keeps Movin’
![]() 49 - 17
The Bears showed up with hopes in their heart.
But the out-come was apparent; right from the start.
Sam and his crew started out strong,
The Bears found out early that something was wrong.
With fire in the boiler and the tracks well greased,
The freight-train was rolling down-hill in the breeze.
Baylor looked good on their first T.D. drive,
But in the end the “D” ate them alive!
There must be an alum for the Bears in the booth,
For to give them that “pick” was a travesty of truth.
Once again the Bears were on the prowl,
With a second T.D. they started to growl.
The train left the station on a cross-country run,
To punch in number 7 when the drive was done.
Ad usual Big Sam was leading the way,
With three seventy-two on the breezy day.
The tune-ups are over; it’s time for the test,
The Horns are tuff but the “BIG RED” is BEST!!!
GO SOONER!!!
