 Walk in the Park

The freight was loaded with a full head of steam,
The tracks were greased as the engine began to scream.
Out of the blocks the Sooners pounded for a score,
It looked like the TD’s were going to pour.
With three takes away by our Big Red “D”,
The first half was all Sooners in the game by the sea.
Like saber-tooth cats; big “D” was on the prowl,
The most the Huskies could do was a whimpering growl.
Big Sam; as usual was on the mark,
In the salty air , it was a walk in the park.
Locker was said to be a big threat,
But that was before the Sooners he met!
Five TD’s and three o four,
Sam the man, can roll out the score.
The Horned Frogs are on the road,
Is that what we used to call the “Horny Toads”?
Go Sooners!!!!
