The Hands of Time


	The Hands of Time We could have the joy again of a love so sweet and fine, When we were young and excited if we could turn back the hands of time. We would run and laugh once more it would be a happy sign, Of a love so full and fresh if we could turn back the hands of time. We would glow with love so bright into the sky it would surely climb, To out-shine the mighty sun if we could turn back the hands of time. Our love would be much sweeter than the fruit of any vine, And grow stronger and faster if we could turn back the hands of time. Our passion would again run deep as deep as the deepest mine, And we would sparkle like a diamond if we could turn back the hands of time. Why return to the past to have a love so divine?
