 New Sooners of Old
I send my regrets to the Baylor Bears
for the kicking they did receive,
But this is the new Sooners of old
everyone better believe.
We’ll hang half a hundred
so the youngsters can get into the game,
To the needed experience
so they can do the same.
‘Nuff said about the scrimmage
another raid is being planned,
Once more we cross the Red River
to storm into Aggie Land.
Our Sooners need to be sharp
for these Aggies are pretty tuff,
But if we hit them hard and quick
the twelfth man will be on their duff!
