Sad and Lonely
I’ve been pulled away
from my beautiful wife,
And remember how lonely I was
before she came into my life.
She fills my thoughts
each day and night,
Her true love leads me
like a guiding light.
I’m like a ship
without the wind,
My sails hang limp
my spirit does bend.
I hope, soon she’ll return
and bring the breeze,
So, together we can
sail across the seas.
