Red River Shoot~out ‘04
On a cloudy rainy
October day,
Once again the horns
were put away.
The Sooners out fought
the burnt orange crew,
And the refs
who made a mistake or two.
The icing on the cake
was really sweet,
As a shut out today
made the victory complete.
It’s five in a row
for the Sooner bunch,
We never get tired
of having Bevo for lunch!
A freshman named Adrian
left Horns in his wake,
As two twenty five
the nineteen year old did take.
Though, Texas played tough
they were just no match,
As Big "D" closed the door
and securely fastened the latch.
Cry "Burnt Orange" tears and
sing the Mack Brown Blues,
As to the master
once again you lose!!
