	THE END OF OUR FREEDOM Even though they fought a good fight and for a time they held their own, Their numbers were too few their future was already known. So the Indian was engulfed by the expansion swept away like the flood in the spring, To be deposited on this demeaning reservation knowing not what the future would bring. For already the buffalo was no more no longer could they roam the land, Their spirit and will was broken no more was their way of lifend.
