SHEPHERDS OF THE LAND
All the Indian people revered
the Great Spirit’s land,
Respected it’s creatures
understood nature’s plan.
Take what you need
use what you take,
Waste not want not
for all Nature’s sake.
Some white man were our brothers and respected our way of life,
But knew as their numbers swelled
it would cause us great strife.
But all things have to change
nothing can stay the same,
If only the race’s hatred
mankind could finally tame.
