 IN THE GREAT SPIRIT’S ARMS
I thank you Great Spirit
for all your mighty hand has done,
I thank you for allowing me
to once more see the morning sun.
Though my eyes are dimmed I know
your beauty is still there,
From the mountains to the valleys
and the sweetness of the air.
Through all my many years
you have blessed me so,
You have guided me along the trails that you wished me to go.
Now I am tired
my body is weak
It’s your comforting arms
in the happy hunting ground I seek.
