 BIRTH OF A WARRIOR
From the moment the boy is born
his destiny is already set,
To be a hunter and a warrior
until his fate is met.
But he would have it no other way
for that’s his only goal in life,
To be a mighty warrior, with his bow
tomahawk and knife.
For courage and honor
mean more than life or death,
He would fight for what he believes with his last dying breath.
And so my people lived
their simple but happy days,
Without the white mans greed
to corrupt their honorable ways.
