 A Mother's Love
The Lord smiled upon you
when He gave you this little one,
He said, “show your love unconditionally
as to you I have done.”
A baby is truly a miracle
from above,
Requiring extra large doses of
a mother’s love sweet love!
Remember, that everything
your Lord does own,
This tiny bundle of joy
is merely on loan.
Teach your little one
the way of the Lord,
To walk in His footsteps
to their final reward.
For one day the Lord
will recall all He does own,
He will ask if you were faithful
that The Way has been shown.
