The Next Helper
My next to youngest buddy
pulled a chair up close to me,
Said I want to watch my pa-pa
what he’s doing I want to see.
So I believe the time is close
for the age he is about to reach.
To be a little helper
his pa-pa can begin to teach.
For what good is knowledge
if you don’t share all that you know,
To encourage and mold young minds
and to help them as they grow.
So ask me all your questions
I’ll answer the best I can,
For I want to help you along
the road to becoming a man.
