 The Name Game
We answer to Nanny and Pa-Pa
because that is our favorite name,
While loving our wonderful grandkids
is definitely our number one game.
We love them when they’re young
and we’ll love them when they’re old,
Even if they don’t do exactly
what they’re told.
Kids of our kids, flesh of our flesh
that’s why they are so dear,
Our hearts are filled with joy each time
our little ones are near.
We pray for a lot more time to
hear them call our names,
To cut short a love like ours
would be a terrible shame.
