The "Stuff" Hunt
My two youngest buddies
for a while they came to stay,
They said, “we’re going to look for some “stuff”
we need “stuff” so we can play.
We went to the shop where some “stuff”
would probably be,
They gathered two arm-fulls
it was the first “stuff” hunt for me.
They had plywood and cardboard and
dowel rods times four,
They headed back again because they said
“we need some more.”
They said, “we need hammers and nails
and I think some glue,”
I had to tell them
“ I think what you have will have to do.”
They built a rocket ship and a lab and
a house to crawl inside,
Their “stuff” hunt was successful
we were all satisfied.
