 Magnetized Dirt
Why are kids attracted to dirt?
Is it a strange magnetic field?
That pulls and tugs with enormous force
and forever a parents fate it seals,
So don’t get mad at the kids
for something which they have no control,
Just start another load of wash
as they reach knee deep in another hole.
But surely someone could invent
an anti-magnetic spray,
That would repel all dirt and grime
and from our kids make it stay far away,
But that would mean less laundry
and all the products it takes for the task,
Resulting in many failed businesses
so clean kids are just too much to ask.
