 Look What I've Got!!
When a little one comes running all excited
you know there is something to see,
Especially when their hand is in their pocket
you wonder what it could possibly be.
But you might be a little afraid
of what you’re going to find,
That’s why the many possibilities
always enters my mind.
I always ask myself
“What the heck will I do,
If he happens to pull out a snake
or maybe a spider or two?”
So as he digs deep into his pocket
to bring out his treasure to share,
I hold my breath until I see
just what his little hand does bare.
So far I’ve been real lucky
no snakes or spiders as yet,
But what the future does hold
I don’t even care to bet.
