 Laughter of a Child
The sweetest sounds on earth
can only come from one place,
The melodic laughter of a child
as through our lives they race.
Their laughter is contagious
it draws some from us too,
Our heart isn’t as heavy
is this lesson for me and you?
They laugh at just about anything
they find fun wherever they can,
Instead of us helping them
maybe they can give us a helping hand.
To slow us down and simplify our life
at least for a little while,
To lighten our load and show us how
to bring out a little smile.
