Little Feet~Big Terror
The pitter-patter
of little feet,
To read about
sounds so sweet.
But if you’re the one that
has to chase them down,
It can really be
a terrifying sound.
What are they doing?
Where are they at?
How do they move
as quickly as a cat?
But try and get them
to hurry for you,
And everyone knows just
what they will do.
They’ll walk in circles
Eyes on the ground,
Face screwed up in
a great big frown.
Go ahead and take their hand
to gently bring them around,
And you’ll find them playing rag doll
Laying flat on the ground.
Now you have but two choices
to continue on your way:
Carry them like a sack of flour
or just let them lay.
