A Child's Eyes
A little child’s eyes
see wonders and joy,
A funny shaped rock, a frog going hop
or dad to play with toys.
They see tiny things an
adult doesn’t notice,
Our busy lives won’t
let our eyes focus.
If sometimes we could only be
a lot more like the little ones,
And find the peace and joy
in quite, simple fun.
We would be less stressed
and be more relaxed as well,
And a lot less likely
at our little ones to yell.
A child will find wonders
and mysteries galore,
So share in their excitement
and help them explore.
