Christmas Morning
It’s early dawn
on Christmas morn,
Mom and dad all snuggled
in their bed so warm.
They’re tired and worn from
their Christmas Eve chores,
Putting together toys for
their little girls and boys.
But the kids are awake
they can’t believe their eyes,
The sun is coming up
so it’s now time to rise.
Out of their beds
as quick as a flash,
They hardly touch the floor
as across the room they dash.
Mom and dad-mom and dad
you must hurry up,
I bet we have gotten
all kinds of stuff.
Finally, mom and dad
are brought to the tree,
But to see their kids faces
is the best present there could be!!
